Jiffyshirts is looking for a remote world class designer to create high quality user experiences for our customers who use our e-commerce website and mobile application.

How we'd like you to help us

• Work with stakeholders, product managers and developers to deliver exceptional UX/UI design

• Create wireframes based on feature requirements

• Discuss and approve wireframes with a product manager or key stakeholders

• Create high fidelity UI designs based on approved wireframes

• Communicate across multiple teams and areas

• Iterate on UX/UI designs where further testing is required

• Actively participate in design discussions and bring your ideas to the table

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 7 years of experience in UX/UI design at a product based (SaaS) or e-commerce company

• A proven track record of developing high quality UX/UI for web and mobile applications

• Passionate about UX/UI design

• Have an always learning mindset. You sharpen and hone your skills by reading books, taking online courses, watching videos or reading blogs.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain your design decisions

• Experience with:

  • A/B Testing

  • Optimizing conversion funnels through UI/UX

  • E-commerce

  • HTML, CSS, Javascript

• Knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guideline

We're looking for an experienced full-stack engineer equally comfortable working on greenfield features and refactoring legacy code. RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Full stack web application development with a variety of languages including Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, etc 
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code 
• Contribute to the architecture of a highly scalable and reliable system 
• Improve and tune the infrastructure to ensure no one gets midnight wake ups 
• Working within a cross functional team on features both large and complex 
• Taking a parental interest in the health of the system and ensuring that it runs smoothly 24x7 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience building web applications 
• Experience in dynamic environments 
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or other web application stacks such as Java, Python or Node.js 
• Experience working with custom search systems using Solr or ElasticSearch 
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
